A Look in the Classroom
  1. Language Arts: Our journey with Louis comes to a happy end and we will begin The Little Prince; please send your scholar to school with his or her copy by Wednesday. We’re taking a close look at the rhyme scheme of The Adventures of Isabel on Friday. We will have a shortened Spalding list due to our mid-week Great Hearts Day celebration. We are blending our Writing and History instruction as we begin our Early American Explorers writing project; most of this project will take place in the classroom, for details of the project, please click here.
  2. History: A study guide for Monday's Vikings quiz is coming home today, and a Quizlet is available for studying vocabulary. History lessons will be joining with Writing to start our Early American Explorers project; during our history blocks students will be given the time to read about these explorers and learn more about the process of taking proper notes for research.  Here is the quizlet link:

  4. Math:  This week we will be continuing our time unit. We will be having a math quiz on Wednesday which will cover everything we have done so far in the time unit.  We will also be exploring seconds, months and years, and days and weeks.
